James went for the lump sum money and claimed his $1 million prize shortly after the news broke in. Next Wednesday, the lottery officials reported that Sgt. Maj. George Brooks, a retired Army veteran from Fayetteville, is the new winner of another 1 million dollars jackpot after purchasing a $20 ticket on Bragg Boulevard. Asked what is he going to do with this little fortunate that just spilled into his account, Brooks said that he is willing to buy a new house, donate to an animal shelter and reach out to homeless and people in need.
