Millions of dollars as jackpots – this is the big announcement released by Kansas Lottery. The last time a jackpot game was associated with such a generous amount of money was back in November 2013. The Powerball Jackpot and The Super Kansan Cash Jackpot are currently the brightest gems, waiting for the two most inspired number-pickers to become Saturday’s winners. The Super Kansan Cash jackpot, last hit four months ago, has now went up to an estimated $1.32 million for this weekend’s drawing. Last summer’s winner, who picked his numbers using a fortune cookie, went home with $389,672 down in his pockets.

For the January 9th drawing there’s $221 million ($144.8 million cash option) at stake, known as the Mega Millions, and starting with January 10th anyone who succeeds in matching all numbers in Hot Lotto will get richer with an estimated $3.51 million fortune.
Several winners within the past days are already in line for bringing home their cash prizes – as told by Kansas Lottery officials. Among the most recent winning tickets are to be mentioned:

• $1 million worth Holiday Millionaire Raffle ticket 138237 (sold in Southwest Kansas)
• $30,000 prize for Hot Lotto Ticket (sold in Northeast Kansas) – corresponding to the January 7 drawing
• $10,000 worth ticket (sold in North Central Kansas) - placed for the January 7 Powerball drawing
• A Mega Millions Megaplier $15,000 worth ticket (sold in Northeast Kansas) – in response to the January 6 drawing. The ticket holder went for the Megaplier option, which tripled the initial amount.
