Education Lottery recently reported that one of the players matched every single white ball from a set of five and so $1 million is on its way to the soon-to-live in a “golden castle” resident of Mitchell County. The winner is expected to claim the prize from Raleigh’s headquarters within a limited timeframe of 180 days from the drawing date. The second million hasn’t been claimed either, although it found its owner shortly after the Christmas Eve Powerball drawing. The ticket was sold somewhere on South Tryon Street in Charlotte. Wednesday is a big day too! The jackpot annuity is announced to be up to $146 million and, if claimed as single payment, would make someone crazy-rich and $95.1 million times happier than ever before.
