A Lottery Winner Wins $10,000 at the 1st Attempt

How do you feel to win the lottery the first time you buy the ticket? It must be very exciting and others are usually happier if not jealous with the luck. This happens to Britney Benton, a 24 year old woman from Church Hill, Tennessee who got $10,000 from the scratch-off game of Jumbo Bucks in the Tennessee Lottery.

Britney said that it was the first time she played a lottery and her friend, Terry Dennis, gave her one of $1 tickets he bought. Terry only spent $1 for the prize won by Britney which was worth $10,000! These two friends bought the tickets at the Exxon station and the people couldn’t believe it when Benton said that she won the big prize. Even Benton could not believe what she won and she said that perhaps it is a gift from God.

Now Benton is planning to do something with her money and she offered Dennis to take some share of the prize because he bought the ticket for her but Dennis said that she deserves the lottery prize more than him.  As she feels thankful enough for her lottery winning, Benton planned to donate some of the money to charity as well.
