Michael Rule, a worker at the Campbell Soup Co. has a mixed up feeling at the moment as he just won $250,000 in a lottery but at the same time he has to deal with some employee firing next summer. The company where he is working is planning to reduce the number of workers and Rule has not known yet whether he would be one of the fired ones. But he feels a bit relief after winning the lottery as he can invest it or start a small business with his money.
He bought the lottery on October 30 at El Camino Avenue W 2550 in the South Natomas area and he matched 5 of the total 6 Mega Million winning numbers drawn on that day. If only he could get the Mega number he would have won millions of dollar. He used some combination of birthday numbers of his family for the winning numbers. Rule said that he feels really happy with this $250,000 prize and although it is not the biggest prize, he already feels lucky as the odds of getting the money is only 1 in 4 million.
