Three Elderly Neighbours from Cupar Get Lucky

Being lucky is always unpredictable. Most people always hope to be lucky but only a few can be the ones. This happened to three elderly people who happen to be neighbors in Blalowan Gardens, Cupar. They are considered lucky and fortunate to win grand jackpot with the amount money of 1 million Pound sterling after they realized that their numbers in their lottery tickets matched with the winning numbers.

The lottery they bought is the People’s Postcodes Lottery’s Summer Millions. Those members of Cupar society, Margaret Nelson, Kathleen Todd, and Bob Marshall then split the cash among them as much as 333,333 Pound sterling. They hit the jackpot numbers when the announcement of the winning numbers mentioned KY 15 5EL at the town Corn’s Exchange.

The retired RAF officer, Bob Marshall, stated that after winning those much money, he already had set a plan to purchase a new comfortable car. This idea is the same as Margaret Nelson’s idea. Having a new car and going shopping as well as giving a treat to the family and friends.
For Kathleen Todd, a retired nurse from Adamson hospital, said actually she almost missed the chance to be the jackpot winner as she was due to move to other place and had to change her postcode a few days before the announcement. She did not state her plan with the money, but she will continue her activity in raising fund for an institution.
