People living in the State of Georgia will be part of the world wide online lottery games soon after the state lottery officials had approved the proposals on the availability of online ticket system. Although it will still take around three months for the people to be able to buy the ticket just by a mouse click, this good news is expected to help raise the revenue of Georgia Lottery. It is also hoped that there will be more funds from the Lottery given to basic education such as for scholarship and kindergarten.
Despite some controversies, the Governor of Georgia, Nathan Deal confirmed that the state will be one of the first states in the US that allow online ticketing system and it is hoped to help improve the economy. Objections came from members of The Georgia Family Council who think that people will be more exploited with this online system referring to the low class people who dominate the lottery lovers. They are worried that poor people will be poorer while those richer, such as those running the betting games, will be much richer.
Whether agree or not to both statements, people in Georgia are now one step closer to technology as this online system (which is approved only for Mega Millions, Powerball and Fantasy 5 will make everything much easier and more interesting.
