What you give you’ll get back. That’s an old saying and not everybody believes that but what happens to a Hayward resident named Frank Schmock has proven that it is true. He is a 69 year old man who has been taking care of his sick grandson suffering from cystic fibrosis and waiting to have the lung transplanted. He just won $$350,000 from a lottery which he has been a regular punter for more than 20 years but only after he takes care of his handicapped grandson that he wins such a big money.
Schmock has been playing Powerball, EuroMillion and other lotteries regularly for a long time and he did not believe it when the cashier told him that he won. He did occasionally win but it was not more than $100. This is the only time in this month that he could take home the amount of $350k which became $235,000 after tax.
When asked about what he is going to do with the money, Schmock said that he wants to buy a car for his handicapped grandson, pay the bills and he also wants to visit his family. He also added that nothing about his life will change and he will keep buying the lottery tickets.
