Almost all cashiers selling lottery tickets tell the ticket buyers to remember them if they win the lottery but not many of them care to share or even remember to share their winning prize to the lottery tickets sellers though they said so. Most of them forget their words once they win and celebrate their victory with the people they love.
But what Bob Erb, the winner of Lotto Max jackpot worth $25 million on Nov 2, did this week is something really sweet and honorable. When he bought the lottery tickets at the Chevron gas station on November 2, the cashiers told him not to forget them if he won. And that’s exactly what he did! After claiming the $25 million, Erb did not directly spend the money for himself but he went to the gas station to share his windfall with the staff, each of them got $10k from him. And to the ticket cashier who chose and handed him the ticket, Erb gave $20k.
The cashier, Paranich said that he always joked to the punters whenever they buy the ticket not to forget him if they win but nobody has ever remembered that although they do win. What Erb has done is definitely a wonderful thing for him and his friends.
