The Cranberry Shop n Save Customer Wins $1million Powerball Ticket

One of the customers of the Cranberry Shop ‘n Save on Freedom Road Friday, North Hills, Pennsylvania, will be a rich person soon as there was a lottery ticket worth a million dollars was sold there.  This customer will be one of Pennsylvanian millionaires as soon as he claims the prize.

The manager of the store, John Barley, said on Tuesday that the prize for the winning ticket no 05-06-13-36-50 has not been claimed by the winner. It is because perhaps, even the winner, has not yet known that he has won this prize. The manager, the Sorbara Family who owns the shop all staffs are all waiting for the claim with anxiety as they expect that the winner is one of their regular grocer’s buyers who often shops there.
This anxiety really makes sense because the Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball Officials could not announce the name of the winner until he claims the prize and he has one year from the winning date to claim it. So they might keep wondering and guessing who the winner is until July 2013 if the winner hasn’t stepped in yet.

However, the Cranberry Shop n Save should have something to celebrate as the shop that sells this winning Powerball ticket will also win a bonus of $5,000 when the prize is claimed. This has been the second time for the shop to get the bonus after one customer won another big prize last year.
